Los Caporales Taqueria in Livermore

We finally tried this place out after walking out of Ale house from their belittling treatment. The venue is casual and comforting. They had soccer on the screens and rowdy blue collar soccer fans that were funny to listen to. The Mexican version of UK fans =) There were a couple of families with kids and young professional couples.The food was great!!! The chips are self served and a good selection of fresh salsa. The radishes are sliced and really fesh. Food was served fast and the gigante quesadilla and super carne asada burrito were large and super tasty. Going to try the ceviche and prawn dishes next time. They have a good selection of canned beer that is of course skewed to Mexican brands. =)Awesome find, should have tried them years ago.

Very good taqueria with your standard menu items. The carne asada is good quality, not too fatty, but tender and well seasoned. They have a lot good choices. I would recommend this place if in downtown Livermore.

Best breakfast burrito in downtown Livermore. Chips and salsa bar are great, and the meats are all well seasoned and delicious. Plus, a perfect outdoor seating area for a hot day.

I come here for lunch all the time. Everything on the menu is delicious.

Locates in the heart of down town, this place is a literal hole in the wall, in the best way possible. You could miss it if you blink, and youd really be missing out on now great food. I had the burrito plate, and it was really good. My friend had the shrimp plate and enjoyed hers as well. I think the net time im in I'll try the shrimp plate!

Fast service and great food.

We ordered just now a chile rellenos, and pork enchiladas, the chillies pod was not soft, they didn't grill and pill pod with no fresh sause to top it, the pork in the enchiladas was dry like wood bark off a tree. Us three customers will never go there again.

Horrible experience! We went there few months back to try vegetarian dishes. But guess what ? Located in downtown Livermore, they do not have wheelchair access. Tables outside were occupied so they refused to serve us ! Wow!! How does this non ASDA compliant restaurant pass inspection in 2019 without wheelchair accessibility?

Their food is soooo inconsistent. Ordered 3 shrimp tacos and all of the shrimp were super under cooked.

Tripas tacos were the best ive eaten in a long time. Ill be stopping by here on my next trip to SF again. Very nice people in this town.

I ate here Saturday morning in the front patio on the street and enjoyed the sun drinking coffee and eating breakfast

Place is small and the lady at the register was a rude b___h..asked her to spice up my shrimp soup and she commented 4 me to do it my self ...there at the sause station..head to EL CHARRO by the new movie theatre ..youll be treated better and more room

Good,easy food. Average flavor. Quick service. Great place when you're in a crunch. Small seating area. Good location since it's downtown. Lots of shopping. Could use some more flavor. Lots of menu options.

Best carne Asada in Livermore by far!

Delicious food, but also much more salty than most Mexican restaurants I visit.

Get that campechana boyeee! The octopus and shrimp in it is perfectly cooked and super high quality, they have a bigger location not far away too but I'm living downtown and this is my homies go to so we be goin' on the regs.

This is the kind of place where you know you're about to enjoy an authentic Mexican meal. Small, unpretentious decor, the menu in pictures on the wall and hardly a word of Ingles is heard.No fanfare, no pretention, just plenty of savoury Mexican food.

The caldo de res was perfect and the tacos were great as well.

While the pricing is quite high, I find the food is usually fairly tasteless and dry. I dine here about twice per year when accompanying others, but it is not my preference for Mexican food.

This is THE best tilapia IV had since visiting Mexico 🇲🇽
